Conclusion

...Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 2 raises the bar and is a mighty fine example of what a full-tower enthusiast chassis should offer in 2018.

The be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 2 is a go-to chassis for enthusiasts planning to put together the ultimate PC. Building on the solid foundations of the original, the Rev 2 addresses almost every identified niggle to provide an upgraded package that users are going to want.

A full-size and well-thought-out PSU shroud is now at hand to hide drives and cable clutter, the integrated fan hub has been improved with support for up to eight PWM fans, the useful HDD slot covers from the Dark Base 700 have been carried over, and the I/O panel has been enhanced with USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2.

Every upgrade we had hoped for is present, and though it's a shame to have lost the reset button in the process, the Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 2 raises the bar and is a mighty fine example of what a full-tower enthusiast chassis should offer in 2018.

Bottom line: the Ā£259 asking fee is steep, but there's little else as versatile or accomplished on the market today, making this our chassis of choice for a giant, ultra-high-end build.

I know many criticise the inclusion of RGB, but I would have liked the front RGB strips from the Dark Base 700 to be included here. I would also have preferred the Qi charger be omitted and the price reduced.
Not a fan of doors on the case front, nor of tempered glass.
The last Be-Quiet case I tried a build in turned out to be quite a compromise, as in either you had watercooling or you had drives and bay devices… not quite as versatile as advertisements implied.
Oh, and cable management looks a touch tight…

Other than that, looks quite nice.
Lose the glass panel and this is essentially perfect. Now, if only I wasn't completely poor!
No HDMI on front panel for VR and 5.25" bay covers is a fail on a case of this price?
5.25 is a huge win.
VR support is like genius after we were all told how good 3d was a while back …. good luck flogging that on ebay btw.

seems a nice case to me dont like the door tho
