It's been a really hectic week at HEXUS Towers. We've been chained to the benchmark dungeon, slaving away producing brand-new results for NVIDIA's latest graphics card.

Leading off the GeForce GTX 660 Ti charge is a custom-designed model from KFA², followed very quickly by EVGA's take on the same GPU.

Three time's the charm and our third look at the GeForce GTX 660 Ti comes by way of Gigabyte. Considering the card as part of a complete system rather than in isolation, Scan Computers builds a capable, quiet PC around it. The 3XS Performance Q10 trades a little performance for quiet operation.

And making it a full-on week in terms of graphics, PowerColor's HD 7870 Vortex II - a natural competitor to the GTX 660 Ti - is put under the review microscope. If all this talk of GTX 660 Ti is getting you in the mood for a graphics-card upgrade, there's always the opportunity of bagging yourself one in our fabulous EVGA competition, where five lucky winners will each win an EVGA GTX 660 Ti SuperClocked card!

In other news, it seems as if AMD is readying its Trinity-based APUs for desktop deployment beginning in October, Microsoft's Surface tablet is rumoured to be as cheap as $199, the big M renames its Metro UI, underpinning Windows 8, to Modern UI, and, if reports are to be believed, the Apple iPhone 5 pre-order begin on September 12.
