...offers lots of stylish tempered glass without breaking the bank and covers most of the essentials for a modern build.Deepcool is a brand worth knowing about if you're hoping to shave a few pounds off the cost of your next PC build.
The Chinese manufacturer has a growing catalogue of cost-effective CPU coolers and PSUs, and its chassis portfolio will soon be expanded with the retail launch of the Matrexx 70.
Priced at £70, the firm's latest mid-tower offers lots of stylish tempered glass without breaking the bank and covers most of the essentials for a modern build. There's plenty of room to work with, the clean-looking PSU shroud is topped with an unusual sheet of glass, and despite its modest price tag, there's support for an E-ATX board and a couple of large radiators.
There is inevitably room for improvement - rubber grommets on the cable holes would have been nice, as would a rigid, easily-removable front filter - but as a pared-back foundation for a trendy PC, Matrexx 70 does enough to be in with a shout.
