Conclusion

...at twice the price of the standard H510, NZXT's Elite model doesn't represent great value in a hotly-contested marketplace.

The H510 Elite is a stylish refresh of the likeable H500. New for 2019, NZXT has added forward-looking USB Type-C to the I/O panel, the glass frontage adds an extra layer of elegance, and the Aer RGB fans and addressable LED strip combine with the latest-generation smart device to offer eye-catching lighting effects.

Our test platform looks undeniably sleek inside this compact mid-tower enclosure, yet given the £150 price point, might we have expected a little more refinement in other areas? Having only one Type-A port feels stingy, the 3.5in drive cage is poorly thought out, and on an 'Elite' chassis at this end of the market, the availability of only a single top fan-mount could be viewed as a major shortcoming for high-end builds.

Four bundled fans help soften the blow, and the chassis does look lovely, yet at twice the price of the standard H510, NZXT's Elite model doesn't represent great value in a hotly-contested marketplace.

Bottom line: those invested heavily in NZXT CAM may choose to go Elite, but for everyone else the regular H510, at £75, makes far more sense.

The Good

The Bad
Still looks lovely
Reasonably compact for a mid-tower
Elegant and easy to remove glass side panel
USB Type-C port on all models
Four bundled fans, including two RGB

Twice the price of the regular H510
3.5in drive cage still has no removable trays
Only a single top fan-mount
I/O panel is sparse

Still ridiculous airflow and pointless gimmicks, but costs more.
£150 is far too much for the exact same case they have been making for years now.
Ok so it has a usb type c port whats that cost them 50p ?
4 x fans lets say £5 cost and a bit of glass = double the price of the normal 510 case.

Talk about ripping you off!
Glass in front of fans. Brilliant!!!!
Noisy and poor cooling for everything except the CPU. Sounds like NZXT.

I've recently had to swap my girlfriend's PC out of an NZXT S340 Elite into a Corsair chassis because of the terrible cooling. Her RTX 2070 was breathing in hot air and becoming unstable. Reaching the high 90s with a double fan Zotac cooler. Terrible case.
