Innovative Taiwanese PC designer In Win has announced the imminent availability of its new 503 Mid Tower mainstream chassis. The sliding tempered glass fronted chassis, first seen at the CES earlier this year, will make it to global retail towards the end of this month or the beginning of May.

The In Win 503 Mid Tower will be made available in black and red with a red LED fan, or in white and black with a white LED fan. Both colour schemes feature a matt black interior and an 'extra large' side window. The chassis is constructed from 0.6mm SECC sheet steel and features a tempered glass front which slides down to reveal the single 5.25-inch bay beneath the power button and front I/O panel (USB 3.0, USB 2.0 x2, HD Audio). Overall you are presented with a chassis sporting clean lines and an attractive gleaming black glass from panel.

Inside the new 503 Mid Tower chassis you will be able to fit ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards and enjoy expansion capabilities thanks to the 7 card slots. Maximum expansion card compatibility is 408mm long and the chassis should accommodate AMD CrossFire or Nvidia SLI setups with ease. CPU heatsinks up to 170mm are also supported. PC makers have 27mm of space behind the motherboard tray to help keep cables tidy and hidden.

For your storage devices the chassis offers the aforementioned 5.25-inch external bay two internal 5.25-inch devices and the ability to toollessly fit a combination of 4x 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives and an additional 2x 2.5-inch drives in the EZ Swap drive bays.

For general overall cooling there is ample venting and space for fans at front (120mm x2), rear and bottom of the chassis. In Win doesn't say which of these are supplied with the chassis. Furthermore the chassis is watercooling ready with cut outs and rubber gromets fitted.

The In Win 503 Mid Tower measures 440 x 210 x 472.5mm (17.3”x 8.3”x 18.6” / HxWxD) and weighs 5.9Kg. Pricing is yet to be revealed.

That black and white one is quite nice!

I think In-Win have needed something slightly more mainstream for a while.
unfortunately I have not seen an In Win product in Kenya!! maybe the market is bad here!
And as an added bonus, the lovely glossy front will make it even easier for the forensic officers to lift your fingerprints when they confiscate your computer!
That's super pretty. Would like to see a review, especially one which compares to the H440
Fairly good-looking and quietly distinctive case, but with one ugly side-panel window… those unevenly placed rivets would annoy the flip out of me!!
