4oD arrives on Samsung Smart TVs

Catch up with your favourite Channel 4 shows with new Smart TV App

London, UK, 25th March 2013 - Samsung Electronics Co. UK Ltd, today introduces Channel 4 as the latest partner to land in its Smart TV store, Samsung Apps. The new App gives Smart TV viewers the opportunity to catch up on programmes from the last seven to 30 days and view an impressive archive of classic shows whenever they want.

Channel 4's 4oD is one of the UK's most successful commercial video on-demand service and the new Smart TV App will provide access to thousands of great viewing hours at the touch of a button. Good news for fans who want to catch up on shows such asGrand Designs, Hollyoaks, One Born Every Minute and the forthcoming second series of recent International Emmy winner, Black Mirror by Charlie Brooker.

Available on all 2012 Samsung Smart TV models, 4oD will join an ever-growing collection of services available on Samsung Smart TVs such as, Netflix, LOVEFiLM, Rightmove, Spotify, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. ‘Samsung Apps' is the first and biggest App store available for TVs, with over 20 million Apps already downloaded worldwide, proof that consumers are rapidly embracing the Smart TV format.
