BRAVO, AS GAMER.TV GOES AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 GAMES

Gamer.tv announces launch of Around the World in 80 Games on Bravo TV

Gamer.tv (http://www.gamer.tv) today announced the launch of nine episodes of Around the World in 80 Games on Bravo TV.

Around the World in 80 Games, described as a 'Whicker's World for the PlayStation generation', is an irreverent but insightful exploration of the world's fastest growing entertainment medium.

Hosted by Aaron Paul, the series runs on the format of a US road trip and visits 80 of the biggest characters in interactive entertainment including the rich, the famous and the outrageous and discovers that the computer games business is now beginning to rival Hollywood for glamour, money and power.

Kicking off in the fleshpots of Las Vegas, Aaron meets America's most controversial games creator, strips down to his Y fronts to star in a game himself and takes to the skies with Bill Gates' favourite pilot (everyone should have one). From Vegas it's on to California where Aaron meets the stars of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and lets it all hang out in the Playboy Mansion.

The final episode of Around the World in 80 Games was filmed at this year's E3 in Los Angeles, where Aaron and the team caught up with some of the personalities they met earlier in the series amongst the noise and general hullabaloo of the giant games convention.

Gamer.tv combines television and the Internet - the world's two strongest communication media - to deliver compelling and entertaining TV programmes focused on video games. Gamer.tv has a total of six video game-related programmes in production including a weekly magazine show. Its programmes are broadcast to over 300 million households worldwide.

Around the World in 80 Games will broadcast on Bravo TV on weekdays at 10.45am and 1.15pm for the next nine days, culminating in the E3 2003 special.
