Ok, so Festo shows off their carbon fibre "muscular" tubing may not be very 'gadgety' but when it's this much fun, who cares?

Wow! :D

Now that looks fun.

But there's a few questions I'd like to ask:
1) Is that ever gonna be available to us?
2) How is it set up and linked to the game?
3) When can I come and have a go? ;)

The tubes… Yes
The chair.. Nope :( - He said it was just for demo purposes.

I wish I knew. Maybe there's someone under the chair controlling it all with comedy sized levers.

..Love the fact no one's commented on the stone man having a go in the background at the start of the video :)

How the bloody hell did I miss him? I honestly didn't even notice him!
aah, model penguins..

should feel right at home round my house ;)
A mech eng housemate of mine at uni was using these (can't remember if they were Festo or not) to create a prototype of a knee brace exoskeleton, the intention of which was to assist with exercises for knee injury patients.

It was pretty cool stuff - the PWM'd air valves were quite noisy though.
