Conclusion
...a dependable 1080p IPS screen that covers most of the essentials with workmanlike efficiency.Dell has updated its portfolio of workplace displays with four new additions to the P-Series range. The P2219H, P2319H, P2419H and P2719H, priced from £161 to £246, offer modern aesthetics, a versatile stand and a standard 1080p resolution in a choice of screen sizes scaling up to 27in.
Our 23.8in review sample is a good fit at 1,920x1,080, and though the panel lacks the bells and whistles that are needed to attract content creators or gamers, it offers solid build quality, a compact stand offering height, swivel and tilt adjustment, and super-thin bezels that bode well for multi-screen setups in either landscape or portrait modes.
The form factor is agreeable, and so too is Dell's IPS panel, which offers decent brightness, good out-the-box colour accuracy and ultra-wide viewing angles in all directions. A hint of backlight bleed in the corners is a potential weak point, as is the omission of integrated speakers, but the P2419H is nonetheless a dependable 1080p IPS screen that covers most of the essentials with workmanlike efficiency.
