Summary and Conclusion
EPoX have taken a great product and made it even better of that there is no doubt. By adding the excellent NVIDA MX Integrated graphics functionality to the board, EPoX have assured wide appeal. Anyone considering using the socket A AMD processor should find that the 8RGA+ provides for their needs.
If you are looking for a 2D office workhorse, the 8RGA+ represents excellent value for money and top notch reliability. Only as a server would the board is lacking the necessary specification, due mainly to the absence of a RAID controller.
For the Game enthusiast, the 8RGA+ offers an ultra fast solution utilising the low cost, high performance AMD processors to the full. Depending on your needs a gaming system need not be expensive. It should be possible to build a mid range gaming machine using the on board graphics, and XP2100 processor and some reasonable DDR3200 memory. Even this setup would be able to run with front side bus speeds in excess of 200 MHz with relative ease.
For the ultimate overclocking machine we do not think the 8RGA+ can be beaten. EPoX have listened and taken notice of what their customers are saying. The introduction of variable chip set voltage makes this board exceptional. The only real fault we could find was that the DDR voltage does not go high enough. Hopefully this can be rectified though bios enhancements - hint, hint EPoX.
Hats off to EPoX for making the best NF2 board even better. The only reason we did not award 10 out of 10 was due to the DDR vcore adjustment restrictions.
