Partnering with Arctic is sensible because it enables the iChiLL line to offer excellent temperatures...Inno3D knows it needs to do something a bit different to appeal to the enthusiast who would normally look towards rival brands for their gaming thrills and spills.
Partnering with Arctic is sensible because it enables the iChiLL line to offer excellent temperatures, super-low noise and a small overclock in place. There's plenty to like, especially if you want a sleek card that doesn't compromise on performance.
But putting such cooling in effect does raise the price by around £100 over the cheapest RTX 2080 Super models. Then there's the basic look and feel, and that LCD screen on the shroud is pointless for most motherboards.
We still view the card positively because it manages to absolutely ace the two metrics that matter most for liquid-cooled cards: excellent temperatures and whisper-quiet operation. For that alone, it has a place on a shortlist for the fussy buyer. Certainly worthy of attention if gaming coolly and quietly is your thing.
The Good The Bad Nice and cool
Very quiet at all times
Relatively small size
Memory not overclocked
LCD screen seems like an afterthought
Inno3D GeForce RTX 2080 Super iChiLL Black
