Using automated overclocking on the core, we had expected a bit more oomph. It seems that the silicon lottery plays a bigger part than cooling alone. In-game frequency scaled to 2,055MHz. Memory jumped up to 17.4Gbps.

Worth it? Yup, as the card remains cool and composed.
