Combining an ultra-slim chassis with a stylish stand and a monitor that supports 3D, the Samsung Series 9 900A7A has been announced as the South Korean manufacturer's latest all-in-one desktop (AIO) PC.
Launching
in its home market this week, the
900A7A isn't cheap at 2,690,000 won ($2,359/Ā£1,526) but Samsung hopes
that the 27in (1,920x1,080) monitor,
which has a thickness of just 11.7mm and comes mounted on a curved
asymmetrical
stand, will tap into the excitement that seems to surround any smartphone, laptop, notebook or AIO that is so slim you can barely see it.
The specifications are decent, with an Intel Core i7-2600S processor, AMD Radeon HD 6730M graphics, 1TB hard drive storage, HD web camera for video chat, Blu-ray disc drive, USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, JBL stereo speakers and Live TV support. Though it hasn't been confirmed, some sites are also claiming that the base model will come packed with 8GB of RAM as standard.
