The plug-and-play SODIMM kits launch in three flavours, the 4GB (1x4GB) 1,600MHz version and two 8GB (2x4GB) sticks, which are available with operating speeds of either 1,600MHz or 1,866MHz.
Though the new notebook memory upgrade kits have been designed especially for Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 processors, they are also backward compatible with machines with first-generation chips.
