Starting with the G1 Gaming Series, Gigabyte says that the feature sets of these motherboards are tailored to the needs and desires of gamers – of course. Being more specific these boards are equipped with both switchable OP-AMP 'AMP-UP Audio' technology and Gigabit LAN solutions from Killer and Intel to help make the most of your games.
Finished in a black and red styling the range includes form factors from the ATX standard to a compact but powerful Z97N-Gaming 5 mini-ITX board (link above currently not live).
Gigabyte Ultra Durable motherboards make up the core of the new offerings to mainstream users. The features include many "normally reserved for more expensive motherboards," according to Gigabyte. These boards boast SATA Express and M.2 storage tech, some high end audio tech and gaming networking.
Gigabyte Overclocking Series motherboards are famous for their overclocking ability. There are only two Z97 chipset based new examples on offer today. Both have Premium 4-way CrossFire support, SATA Express and "Exclusive GIGABYTE OC Features" such as OC Ignition, OC Touch and OPT fan support.
Last but not least Gigabyte lists three new Black Edition motherboards with 9 Series chipsets. Each of these has been run though the mill of 168 hours of "server level durability" testing. These Black Edition boards also boast an array of Gigabyte's best audio, networking and cooling support technology.
