Intel's fast approaching Z68 chipset may still be rumoured to launch on May 8th, but that gives plenty of time to indulge in some imagery to whet the appetite.
The Z68 chipset is said to go hand-in-hand with Sandy Bridge, and build upon Intel's current P67/H67 platforms, so let's see how Gigabyte looks to apply this to the Z68X-UD7-B3, which is apparently already available in Taiwan.
The manufacturer's 'Ultra Durable 3' design is naturally present, combined with 24-phase power, Hybrid EFI BIOS and the usual medley of inclusions - including USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps connectivity. Gigabyte also retains the black and gold colour scheme, that we first saw with its P67A-UD7 offering.
Judging by the suggested pricing overseas, the high-end Z68X-UD7-B3 may sit around the £250 price point when it officially appears.
