ZOTAC seems to be on a roll with its itty-bitty mini ITX motherboards. Having recently launched its impressive-looking nForce 630i ITX for Intel systems, it's now bolstering its AMD line-up with the GeForce 8200-ITX WiFi.
The GeForce 8200-ITX WiFi, pictured below, rolls NVIDIA's GeForce 8200 chipset into a tiny 170mm x 170mm frame. Featuring an integrated GeForce 8200 GPU - with a core clock speed of 500MHz, 16 stream processors and NVIDIA PureVideo HD - the board will make light work of any high-def material, and it'll upscale your standard-def DVDs, too.
Should you want to do more than just media playback, it's armed with support for DirectX 10, as well as NVIDIA CUDA and PhysX.
The board supports any AMD AM2+ processor, and the two DDR2 slots allow for up to 8GB of 1,066MHz memory. There's one PCIe x1 slot that'll come in handy for your TV tuner of choice, and there's a choice of video outputs; HDCP-compliant DVI, as well as VGA and HDMI.
Network connectivity comes in the form of Gigabit Ethernet or 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and there's six USB ports for all your peripherals.
There's no mention of price or retail availability just yet, but if the price is right, the addition of some cheap DDR2 and a low-cost Phenom CPU could make this the ideal platform for a tiny HTPC.
