Information relating to MSI's FX720 laptop was served up last week, as the company launched a trio of new Sandy Bridge powered models in the US, and today the manufacturer has announced the UK launch of the 17.3in FX720.
Packing in a DirectX 11 GeForce GT520M graphics solution, the FX720 adopts NVIDIA Optimus technology to switch between integrated and discrete graphics capabilities, depending on the task at hand. It is here, declares MSI, that the juggling act between performance and extended battery life takes place.
Based on the Intel H65 Huron River platform, the FX720 is kitted out with a Core i5 CPU, supports up to 8GB DDR3 memory and is offered with storage capacities ranging from 500GB through to 750GB.
THX TruStudio Pro sound capabilities are delivered through four internal speakers and the manufacturer tells us, that USB 3.0 support, a 2MP camera, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi support and a 5-in-1 card reader are all included.
