Size matters
It seems Samsung is readying a big tablet announcement and commentators predict a medum sized version of the Galaxy Tab is in the pipeline.
The firm posted a teaser picture on its Samsung Mobile Facebook page promising ‘more surprises' at its ‘Unpacked' event on 22 March.
Here's an image of the flyer.
The ambiguous ‘78910' message on the flyer has caused commentators to speculate the firm is adding an 8.9 inch tablet to its Galaxy Tab family.
It of course already sells a popular 7 inch model and showed off a jumbo 10.1 inch model at MWC.
The speculation is bolstered by rumours of an 8.9 inch tablet circulating last month that predicted the fabled middling tablet will launch in March.
While some people might be rubbing their hands with glee, a good number of Facebookers who already own one of Samsung's 7 inch Galaxy Pads seem to be worried that their device will not get a Honeycomb update.
One user wrote: "If Galaxy Tab 7inch doesn't get a honeycomb upgrade, that is the first and last Samsung gadget i ever buy," while another said: "This better mean Honeycomb is coming out for 7" TAB..."
All eyes will now be on Samsung's event later this month to see whether the size rumours prove to be true.
