You could be my flamingo, 'cause pink is the new kinda lingo...
Dell recently refreshed its Latitude range of business laptops with the launch of its new E-Series.
The new range, aimed at business users the world over, consists of seven impressive machines, ranging from a 12in ultra-portable to a 15.4in semi-rugged laptop.
The smallest model, the Dell E4200, is expected to be available in the coming weeks, and will have one additional colour option; Quartz Pink. This business-system, then, will be gunning for the ladies.
The girly-gadget, pictured below, is likely to appeal to both the younger ladies and the confused gents, but we're not certain it'll go down well with the suit-wearing business woman. Still, we find it looks kinda cool and I just know my other half would love one - it'd match with her pink trainers.
It isn't just about looks, either. The E4200 aims to encroach on the netbook market without compromising on functionality. It features a 12.1in display, a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 5GB of RAM, and a choice of SSDs.
Not bad for a system that weighs less than ASUS' Eee PC 1000H. What's more impressive, are the various additional options, including an LED backlit keyboard, WiMax, GPS, and up to 19 hours battery life.
Yep, that's right, 19 hours. That impressive battery life is achieved with the combination of an optional nine-cell battery and a battery slice that fits snuggly to the bottom of the laptop.
Pricing is yet to be announced, but this could be the Christmas present she wants.
