DrayTek release new hybrid IP PBX for SMEs, integrating analogue, ISDN and VoIP (SIP trunking)

DrayTek have launched a new IP PBX for small-to- medium sized businesses (SMEs) providing a complete data and voice communications platform. The VigorIPPBX 3510 is aimed at businesses with up to 100 employees.

Many businesses wishing to take advantage of the cost savings and flexibility associated with Voice Over IP (VoIP) are reluctant to throw away old, but highly reliable analogue phone equipment. Furthermore, despite the improvements in reliability and quality of broadband VoIP sevices many businesses prefer the ‘safety net’ of a back up analogue or ISDN phone line, or just want a staged migration.

The VigorIPPBX 3510 offers the perfect solution for the small business allowing all the current phone technologies (both old and new) to be integrated into a single, simple to administer PBX. Analogue, ISDN and IP Phones can all be connected as can analogue, ISDN and Broadband (SIP) trunk lines.

The VigorIPPBX 3510 has 2 module slots to allow selection from a range of modules to match the user’s phone and line requirements including ISDN or analogue lines, or analogue extensions.

In addition to this highly flexible connectivty, the VigorIPPBX 3510 offers all of the standard features a business would expect and need from a PBX including call transfer, hold/park, music-on-hold, voicemail, auto-attendant and many convenience/usability features.

With DrayTek’s pedigree in Internet routers, the VigorIPPBX 3510 is also a fully featured firewall/router with dual-WAN load balancing capabilities and optional 3G.
