Samsung Electronics highlights monitor innovation and minimalist design for European market

New monitors and Smart Signage TVs offer the latest in curved, UHD and integrated technologies for consumers and businesses 

London, UK - February 5, 2015 - Samsung Electronics will be showcasing a new line-up of innovative monitors and Smart Signage TVs at the Samsung Forum, held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from 5^th - 7^th  February. The cutting-edge solutions include the latest curved and Ultra High Definition (UHD) monitors, featuring unparalleled advancements in technology and design creating an immersive and seamless viewing experience for consumers and businesses.

Led by the SE790C, SD590C and SE510C, Samsung's full suite of advanced curved monitors delivers a modern, minimalistic design, ensuring there are no distractions from enhanced productivity. Along with these feature-packed monitors, Samsung's UD970 UHD monitor reflects unmatched colour accuracy alongside stunningly realistic colours and detailed, high-pixel imaging for life-like images and more accurate colour representation.

Samsung will also demonstrate the RH55E second-generation, 55-inch Smart Signage TV. Featuring a sleek design with enhanced screen quality and a built-in content management system (CMS), the RH55E offers fully customisable messaging to allow business customers the ability to enhance their offerings.

Curved Monitors

Curved technology will now be a mainstay in the home or office with the release of Samsung's latest suite of curved monitors. The new range will provide a comfortable, engaging viewing experience with screens that closely match the natural curve of the eye. The curved line-up includes a flagship monitor, the 34-inch SE790C, which features an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio, as well as the 27-inch SD590C and 27-inch SE510C.

The award-winning SE790C features optimised curvature, Ultra Wide Quad HD resolution and a superior contrast ratio. These benefits, combined with the monitor's productivity and entertainment enhancing functions, provides a noticeably different viewing experience from other flat screens and or curved monitors. The SE790C was recently recognised with the "Award for Samsung's Curved Monitor Validation with Eye Comfort" from TÜV Rheinland, a leading international certification organisation, following a rigorous performance and validation process, which evaluated the monitor's colour presentation and uniformity, wide-viewing angle and flicker-free operation.

In addition, the SD590C and SE510C curved monitors feature an advanced eye mode for a seamless viewing experience and rich multimedia consumption. The monitors' sophisticated designs and T-shaped, height-adjustable stands (HAS) ensure nothing distracts from the screen content for the ultimate in entertainment and productivity.

UHD and Mainstream Monitors

Samsung's first-ever professional UHD monitor, the 31.5-inch UD970, provides creative professionals with the ultimate viewing experience for improved creativity, efficiency and engagement. As an industry-leading LED monitor, featuring 99.5 percent Adobe RGB colour support and dual-colour mode display options, the UD970 provides extremely accurate colour representation and decreased output errors when printing. The meticulous factory calibration, professional design functionality and hassle-free, customisable screen adjustment result in a responsive and best-in-class experience.

For business customers, Samsung will also showcase its SD850 Business Monitor. The SD850, available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, is designed for professionals looking for improved content creation and work productivity. Samsung will also highlight its SE360 and SE390 mainstream monitors. Conventional, yet beautifully-designed, each curved monitor is available in 23.6-inch and 27-inch sizes and features a slim bezel, T-shaped stand and Touch of Colour technology. The SE360 and SE390 deliver brilliant picture quality, and are equipped with a 178 degree wide-viewing angle, an eye-saver mode with soft blue light, flicker-free technology and the Eco-Saving Plus function.

The monitors also feature a PVC-free, clean and modern design to enhance the overall viewing experience.

Smart Signage TVs

Building on Samsung's successful Smart Signage TVs for small and medium-sized business owners (SMBs), the second-generation Smart Signage TV, RH55E, is designed to deliver powerful business communications. Along with a symmetrical, slim bezel design, the 55-inch RH55E LED display offers enhanced screen quality and a built-in content management system (CMS) for fully customisable messaging to inspire business customers.
