30 September 2010 – ViewSonic Europe has launched a new range of projectors for businesses needing to deliver vibrant presentations no-matter what the location or lighting conditions. The new Pro 8 Series range of projectors features a brightness level of up to 5000 ANSI lumens, allowing presentations to be delivered even in brightly lit rooms.
The Pro 8 Series, which includes the Pro8500, Pro8450w and the Pro8400, also includes the ability to project in high resolution, up to HD-quality at 1080p. This enables businesses to deliver much more detailed presentations, and to use the projector in large rooms without a loss of picture quality.
As well as providing advanced functionality, the Pro 8 Series is also easy to maintain and has a low total cost of ownership. It features a lamp life of 3000 hours in Eco-Mode, and is compatible with Crestron advanced network control, making it simple to monitor remaining lamp-life and check for faults. Lamp access via the top cover allows the lamp to be easily changed, regardless of how it is mounted.

The Pro 8 Series has an audible noise of only 29db in Eco-Mode making the unit virtually silent. Versatile HDMI/Video/PC inputs allow a range of devices to be connected. Further innovative features include a contrast ratio of 3000:1, two built-in 10w speakers and 1.5x zoom with an extra level of digital zoom. The Pro 8 Series are 3D ready as they have native resolutions that can be displayed in 120Hz refresh rates.
