“Corsair and NVIDIA share a common philosophy and that is to enable our customers to build the sweetest, fastest, most outrageous gaming rigs possible,” said John Beekley, Vice President of Application Engineering at Corsair. “NVIDIA nForce4 SLI Intel Edition MCPs have been designed for performance and we are thrilled to be bringing out a new line of very high speed, low latency DDR2 memory modules that will help deliver out-of-this-world performance for enthusiasts and gamers.”
Memory modules submitted for validation and testing must surpass commodity JEDEC memory requirements and comply with minimal targeted performance levels, including 667MHz clock speeds with memory timings of 4-4-4-12-2T. Memory modules with more aggressive timings such as 3-2-2-8-1T are heartily encouraged. All validated products will be highlighted on http://www.nvidia.co.uk, as well as the Company’s enthusiast gaming site at http://www.nzone.co.uk.
“We knew when we set out to design the world’s most innovative technologies for Intel Pentium 4-based PCs and motherboards, we would have to help our customers select the right components to help build the fastest gaming platforms possible,” said Drew Henry, general manager of MCP business at NVIDIA. “Corsair is recognised for delivering some of the world’s fastest memory DIMMs and our collaboration on this validation program for our new NVIDIA nForce4 SLI Intel Edition MCPs will help provide end-users with the foundation for building the fastest and most feature rich PC platform possible.”
