Press Release: Guillemot Restructures Into Business Divisions

LONDON – 11th February 2003 Guillemot has recently restructured its worldwide organisation and has now divided the business into 3 distinct business units. This restructuring process will enable the group to specialise in each existing category and provide more focus and support to the existing customer base. New product categories have also been created and each business unit can now move into new sectors of the IT marketplace.

Previously Guillemot was divided by 2 brands, Hercules (graphic accelerator cards, sound cards, DV editing cards, speaks and TFT monitors), and Thrustmaster (console and PC peripherals and speakers).

Each key Business Unit Managers will drive through new business and marketing strategies in order to meet the objectives of the company and to further satisfy customer requirements.

The 3 business units are:-

1) Hercules Graphics & Monitors
2) Hercules Sound, TV& Video Editing Cards
3) Thrustmaster

Matthew Russell now promoted to Senior Product Manager, will be handling all PR and Marketing internally for Thrustmaster, Karen Gray will be handling all PR and Marketing internally for Hercules.

Business Unit Managers for each division are:-

1) P J Fletcher
2) Tal Sidi
3) Michael Flanagan

Tal Sidi has been promoted to Sound Business Unit Head, Michael Flanagan still remains overall UK MD, PJ Fletcher remains UK Sales Director and Karen Gray remains UK Marketing Manager overall although their focus is now more category specific.
