With today's CPUs pulling-in so many features into the processor itself, motherboard size has become less of a limitation, and it's incredible how much functionality can be packed into even the smallest of boards.
As a result, there's never been a better choice of form factors to choose from, with all the big names now offering a diverse range of sizes aimed at specific audiences. Standard ATX is still popular, understandably so, but manufacturers are keen to push other options as enthusiasts aim higher (Extended ATX) and mainstream users shift to smaller solutions such as Mini and Micro ATX.
But what better way to identify a trend than to ask you, the consumers: what size will your next motherboard be? Let us know your choice, and your reasoning, using the comments facility below.
