World's Leading Notebook Designers & Manufacturers Co-develop Consistent Graphics Interface for Upcoming PCI Express Notebooks

THEALE, BERKSHIRE—MAY 17, 2004—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that the Company's Mobile PCI Express Module (MXM) initiative has seen tremendous support from industry-leading notebook manufacturers, designers, and key component manufacturers.

The world's leading notebook Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), including Quanta, Wistron, FIC, Uniwill, Clevo, AOpen, Tatung, Arima, ASUSTeK and Mitac all intend to offer notebooks with MXM incorporated into the design. Also, a number of notebook OEMs will use MXM in notebooks which will be announced at a later date.

The MXM Graphics Module™ interface was jointly developed in an effort to accelerate the adoption of PCI Express-based notebooks in all market segments.
