Prime Minister to review videogames legislation

BBFC spokesperson Sue Clark responded to the criticisms of the Conservative leader by stating that the classification guidelines currently in place are "based on what the public deems acceptable" and that they "feel confident that they have public consent on how they deal with issues such as gun and knife crime."
In response to Cameron and the apparent concerns from parents regarding children being 'exposed to harmful violence and sexual imagery in games and on the internet', Gordon Brown has now jumped on the bandwagon saying that he will review the current legislation and 'study whether new rules are needed on advertising and sale of violent games to them.'
