London based developer, Rocksteady Studios are behind the game and they tell us that Urban Chaos sees T-Zero teaming up with the emergency services to 'combat multiple threats on the city such as bombings and hostage scenarios'. Set in a City environment, the game throws you into the midst of a full scale riot in which you'll need to keep your wits about you in order to survive and save innocent citizens.
Urban Chaos : Riot Response uses Havok 3 technology, features fully interactive environments and an authentic City location. There are 11 main missions with 6 additional bonus missions some of which include intense hostage situations. Each level has a number of objectives that, if completed, will unlock weapon upgrades and bonuses. There are also 21 weapons on offer from military weaponry to meat cleavers and molotov cocktails.
We saw the PS2 version, which was incomplete, and the screenshots are from this version. As you can see the game is visually at the top end of Ps2 graphics and looks like it could be an absoulte riot!
Urban Choas: Riot Response is out this month on Xbox, PS2 and PC.
