Treyarch will release a mod tool kit for the PC version of Call of Duty Blacks Ops next month, says community manager Josh Olin via Twitter.

Black Ops was released last November with Treyarch promising that mod tools would be made available post launch. Six months on, and the kit will be released some point in May; though the Activision-owned studio still hasn't revealed what tools we can expect.

Treyarch also revealed this week that Escalation, the second map pack for the first person shooter, will launch on May 3 for Xbox 360.
