As it turns out, the American company has been up to its eyeballs in dosh because apparently five million units have now shipped worldwide across all three platforms, making it a record for the Fallout series. That coins in approximately $300 million in retail sales apparently, with even more sales coming in from the strategy guide, which has become one of the best selling books on Amazon.
In our review of Fallout New Vegas, we expressed our frustration at the amount of bugs in the Xbox 360 version, but still rated it 87% based on the deep and immersive gameplay. It's certainly a contender for game of the year, though Mass Effect 2 will give it a very good run for its money.
Keep your eyes peeled on the front page of gaming very shortly for this year's nominations for our Game Of The Year.
