USB decks peripheral?

Though it has yet to be officially confirmed, Activision, the publisher behind the critically acclaimed Guitar Hero series, look set to expand their portfolio of videogames with a rhythm and action game called DJ Hero.

It’s likely that if Activision do go ahead with DJ Hero, we’ll get to test out our ‘scratching’ skills on a pair of USB decks!

The trademark, which was filed earlier this month, refers to "computer game software and related instruction manual sold together as a unit; interactive video game programs; computer game discs; downloadable software for use in connection with computer games; video game controllers; interactive video game comprised of a CD or DVD sold as a unit with a video game controller."

Activision has yet to pass comment on the new patent.
