Corsair and DreamHack team up for a huge Dota 2 tournament at DreamHack Summer and Winter 2012, with $60,000 in prize money
FREMONT, California - April 10, 2012 - Corsair®, a worldwide designer and supplier of high-performance components to the PC gaming hardware market, today announced that it is sponsoring the DreamHack Dota 2 Corsair Vengeance® Cup at DreamHack Summer and Winter 2012.
The DreamHack Dota 2 Corsair Vengeance Cup follows on from Corsair's sponsorship of the Dota 2 Championship at DreamHack Winter 2011, and continues the hugely popular Vengeance Cup series of PC gaming tournaments. It will be one of the highlights of DreamHack Summer and Winter 2012, and a major event in the 2012 eSports calendar.

The Dota 2 Vengeance Cup will be open to anyone in the BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) area at DreamHack Summer and Winter 2012, and the finals will be played out in front of a huge live audience in the DreamArena. The Dota 2 Vengeance Cup will feature a massive 400,000 SEK (roughly $60,000) prize purse for 2012, and some of the best eSports teams in the world battling it out for supremacy.
The action will also be streamed live in HD on Twitch.TV, and renowned shoutcaster, Tobi "TobiWanKenobi" Dawson will be on location at both DreamHack Summer and Winter to provide live commentary on key matches.
Dota 2 Beta keys for all BYOC attendees at DreamHack Summer 2012
To celebrate the announcement of this major eSports event, Valve, the developer of Dota 2, will provide a free Dota 2 beta key to everyone in the BYOC area at DreamHack Summer 2012. The keys will be distributed in the coming weeks via the DreamHack booking system, which will give all attendees the chance to win some big prize money.
