HUAWEI Video delivers a varied selection of international and European video content, combining multiple content providers to offer an extensive entertainment library
London, March 27, 2020 – HUAWEI, the world leading technology company, has today announced that its entertainment service HUAWEI Video will now be available to ten more countries in Europe offering its content of over 50,000 titles to even more people. Premium content can be enjoyed via subscription, rental or for some news, factual and entertainment content, for free.
HUAWEI Video already has 140 million monthly active users globally. Originally launched in Italy and Spain, it will now be available in ten additional countries in Europe (Germany, France, UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Turkey, and Russia), so that more people can enjoy popular video content whenever and wherever they want.

HUAWEI Video has integrated a range of services from multiple international and European entertainment providers, to offer an extensive content library. This includes:
- Rakuten: One of the leading Video On-Demand platforms in Europe
- BBC News: global breaking news service from Global News Limited.
- FilmBox: one of the best movie platforms for classic and evergreen movies
- STINGRAY: multi-platform music service streaming concerts
- DailyMotion: thousands of short clips covering all thematic genres
- ToonGoggles: over five thousand cartoons for children
- The Explorers: 4K documentaries to explore every corner of the world

For 2020, HUAWEI has further improved the content offering available on HUAWEI Video with over 50,000 titles, including 30,000 free videos. From international and local series, to blockbuster hits, binge-worthy boxsets, short films, news, sports and documentaries, thousands of new titles will be uploaded every week, providing users with a steady stream of the freshest content to choose from.
HUAWEI Video offers unique customisation and convenience options including ‘Favourite Video’ bookmarks to return easily to favourite content and personalisation options to adjust the order of most watched channels, as well as Parental Control. Content can also be downloaded to watch offline, perfect for when on-the-go. HUAWEI Video members will also have access to VIP exclusive films and member discounts on new and existing blockbuster hits.

The Wise Video feature uses innovative Huawei AI to adjust image and sound quality, as well as adapt streaming quality to a network's bandwidth, ensuring the best viewing experience designed for HUAWEI smartphones.
All HUAWEI devices operating on EMUI 8.0 and above should be able to upgrade HUAWEI Video from 26th March by opening the HUAWEI Video app on their smartphones. Users can also download or update the HUAWEI Video app via the HUAWEI AppGallery.
