Samsung triples UK PC market share in Q1

The only reason the UK's fall in PC sales wasn't greater was the consumer notebook/netbook market.

As the final table shows below, every other segment suffered significant falls while the consumer portable PC segment still managed nearly 19 percent year on year growth.

It's safe to assume the vendors that increased their market share in the UK did so through performing well in the mobile segment.

I'm unsurprised; we now have a few P560s in service, and they are simply sumptuous. They're quick, with bags of storage, screens to die for, good build quality, and cheaper than any comparable machine from Lenovo, Dell or HP. Plus, they look great. What's not to like?
