Conclusion

...the Aero 15 OLED has the chops to manage both work and play, and that eye-popping display will keep you coming back for more.

Aero 15 OLED is Gigabyte's most stunning 15.6in laptop to date. Our review sample, priced at a lofty Ā£2,499, comes to market carrying a component list that's cutting-edge in almost every regard.

The highlights are a gorgeous 4K Samsung AMOLED display, a six-core Intel Core i7 processor, plus Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics, and Gigabyte bolsters its updated chassis design by including Thunderbolt 3, WiFi 6 and improved cooling.

Such goodies are primed and ready for content creation, but make no mistake, the Aero 15 OLED has the hardware chops to manage both work and play without breaking a sweat, and that eye-popping display will keep you coming back for more.

What's not to like, other than the fee? Well, the webcam position is still terrible, and though cooling performance is improved, a laptop as high-powered as this inevitably gets loud when the going gets tough.

Bottom line: enthusiasts, prosumers and high-end gamers should all have the latest Aero 15 on their radar. It is a stellar performer and a fine showcase of what OLED technology has to offer.

thats a rare chart combo - some screen for a lappy :)
Cool laptop and OLED displays are excellent (as a personal owner) but the risk of screen burn on a computer monitor is much higher than a smartphone or TV. There are an awful lot of static elements on a desktop OS.

Hide the task bar, switch to dark mode in OS with no wallpaper and use a screensaver. Lots of bright white areas on screen for very long periods are bad for OLED longevity.

I would only use an OLED monitor as a secondary monitor for video/games or other occasional work, OLED is not for people who have the same thing on screen for several hours a day.
If and when this come with an INTEL Ice Lake based PROC.(or whatever the nomenclature will be for mobile 10nm) I will buy two.
2666mhz ram and a 760p belies that price tag.
If OLED screens keep showing up in laptops you'll have to start using log plots for the contrast ratio

Tunnah

There's nothing wrong with the 760p series, but that drive is half the size it should be for the money
