Final thoughts

...Palit's handiwork results in a card that's almost 10 per cent faster than reference ... and we're particularly pleased to see that acoustics haven't been sacrificed in the process.

The immediate availability of custom-designed GTX 770s is made possible by the new GPU being a very simple manufacturing upgrade over the soon-to-be-retired GTX 680. Palit has jumped on this fact and offered the gaming enthusiast choice of cards straight out of the gate. Headlining the new range is the GTX 770 JetStream model, equipped with a triple-fan heatsink and solid boost to to the core speed.

Palit's handiwork results in a card that's almost 10 per cent faster than reference, which is nice, and we're particularly pleased to see that acoustics haven't been sacrificed in the process. Our only niggle is that Palit hasn't gone the whole nine yards and overclocked the already-quick memory.

Plenty fast, quiet and expected to ship at just Ā£10 more than referenence cards, Palit's GTX 770 JetStream provides stern competition for partners producing AMD's Radeon HD 7970 GHz and also-overclocked GTX 770s.

The Good

GTX 680 OC+ perf at GTX 670 OC money
Lovely and quiet

The Bad

No memory overclocking
Looks are an acquired taste

Nice :D
Suprised to see so much extra power draw then the reference card.
The core is slightly overvolted to 1.225v on this card and powering three fans will draw some extra power.

The GTX770 reference cards based on the Titan cooler exhausting heat from the case are best I've seen so far.
Extremely impressed by the acoustics.
Hmm might be time to upgrade my 480
