Gallery and Partner Cards

We thought we would compile some more shots of the board and some more partner information.

Here we can see a shot of the back of the card, notice the passive heatsink which is present - the front has a fan but the rear doesn't.

Here you can see the cooling isnt attached at the front of the board, more so goes in to a heatpipe style setup then to the rear slots

Here you can see a photo of the NVIDIA demo "ogre" they look incredible you really need to see it in real life to believe it.

Here is a shot of the retail pack which NVIDIA want a partner to implement - notice the film canistor style - with a sneaky FX peeking out! :)

Here is another shot showing the card in full in the package

Here is Terratecs Retail box - looks impressive

We understand that Terratec are going to have the following cards:

Mystify 5800 (DVI-I & TV-Out)
NV30 400MHz GPU with 128MB 800MHz DDR-II
Unreal Tournament 2003, Splinter Cell, Gun Metal, Liquid View, 3DMark 2001 SE Professional

Mystify 5800 Xtreme (DVI-I & TV-Out)
NV30 Ultra 500MHz GPU with 128MB 1GHz DDR-II
Unreal Tournament 2003, Splinter Cell, Gun Metal, Liquid View, 3DMark 2001 SE Professional

We understand that [OCS] will have stock of the Terratec and the Gainward very soon.

Gainward are working on several implementation.

Ultra/1000Plus “Golden Sample” - GeForce FX 5800 Ultra - 128MB 2.0NS DDR2 - 12 Layer PCB estimated € 649

Ultra/800Plus “Golden Sample” - GeForce FX 5800 - 128MB 2.5ns DDR - 8 layer - estimated € 549

EXPERToolTM is Gainward’s performance tuning utility that allows the user to easily adjust the engine clock and the memory clock of any Gainward product from NVIDIA’s recommended default settings to even faster settings. Due to Gainward’s proprietary, rock solid, multi-layer High-Performance/Wide-BandwidthTM hardware design, Gainward offers the end user the choice to run Gainward’s “Golden Sample” products at ”Enhanced Performance Settings” (both, faster engine clock AND faster memory clock) which guarantee significantly improved “3D real-world performance” for even higher resolutions at 32 bit color depth.

I'm Liking it, front end looks well mean and agressive :D
Thats pretty drool worthy in my opinion. Tho I have always been a fan of the M versions. M3 has to be my fave tho.
Does look mean from the front….like on of those fisheye cameras have been used on it a little bit.

Is this from the same designer as the new 5 series, or is it after his “promotion” out of design?

What does “Sequential Manual Gearbox” mean?

Will
I think it means flappy paddle, as it does mention “F1” a lot.

I hope it don't have a flappy paddle, but a 7 speed old skool manual would take a bit of getting used to!
The front looks amazing, but the back looks a bit dodgy to me.
