Final Thoughts and Rating
EVGA's GeForce GTX 670 FTW is a rock-solid card that would fit well into almost any high-end build. Shipping with above-reference core and memory frequencies of 1,006MHz and 6,208MHz, respectively, the card offers GTX 680-like performance and further blurs the lines between NVIDIA's two top-tier single-GPU cards by employing a GTX 680 cooler.
When evaluating in-game frame rate, operating temperature and graphics-card noise, the GeForce GTX 670 performs like a premium GeForce GTX 680 but costs some £50 less. These characteristics make it an enticing proposition, but the FTW card faces stiff competition and in order to stand out, EVGA needs to lower the price tag to move it out of the firing line of ASUS's excellent GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP.
The Good
Offers GTX 680-like performance
Factory-overclocked on both core and memory
Has further overclocking headroom
The Bad
Similarly-priced competition is both cooler and quieter
