Conclusion

MSI understands the GTX 1650's credentials and builds a mini-ITX card around it...

The GeForce GTX 1650 is something of a chameleon GPU. Offering the latest Turing architecture in a package that doesn't need an external power cable - useful for older PCs with basic PSUs - there's something to be said for it when contemplating a small-form-factor build that won't break the bank.

Nvidia's desire to keep to a 75W TDP does, however, leave a lot of performance on the table, and the GPU isn't able to muster super-smooth framerates at FHD. It's also beaten comfortably by the price-comparable Radeon RX 570.

MSI understands the GTX 1650's credentials and builds a mini-ITX card around it. The Aero ITX OC offers a tidy package, excellent temps, solid boost frequency, and a sensible choice of outputs. We don't think the company could have done much more with the GPU, so it's a shame that general GTX 1650 pricing feels high.

This card costing, say, £125 would make for an ideal candidate for a SFF build. As it is, the price-to-performance metric makes it hard to recommend.

Why is this done right? I have an ITX case that can only take a single slot, and have used plenty that can only take half height. For a GPU so generally unimpressive I would frankly expect something smaller.
Does anyone still use DVI?

Yes, though sometimes with a DVI to HDMI adapter where Displayport to HDMI would work just as well. But I do have a DVI-D monitor. Still won't be considering one of these though ;)
I was watching a JayzTwoCents about the 1650 cards. He was basically saying this is nvidia at their worst. A pointless card that offers no value.

Primarily due to the Radeon RX570 having WAY more performance and is also cheaper. If this was a sub £100 card then it might be worth it.
