Conclusions
Test Conclusions. What this shows more than anything is that the TJ06s, with its minimal amount of cooling fans does not fall behind those cases with a greater number of fans, nor those with top mounted fans like the Lian Li. Also, the only test where there was more than a single degree in the results was the CPU temperature test, which is a sterling endorsement of the orientation of the Motherboard, balance of airflow and effectiveness of the Wind Tunnel which the TJ06 enjoys. The Lian Li is lighter, due to its all aluminum construction, but the Silverstone model looks better, performs as well or better, and is at least starting to bring in additional features over the standard tool less high-end case.
At roughly the same price, if I had to choose, I’d go with the Silverstone TJ06s.
Final Thoughts.
A superb looking case for a very competitive price, that performs almost as well as it looks. If extreme cooling is not your thing, and you are simply looking for a stylish chassis to house your latest build in, for around £100, then the TJ06s should be high on your list. Away from its looks, it has some genuinely useful features, a completely tool less design, and a very sturdy construction. There is also an entire Temjin range to choose from, so depending on the depth of your pockets, you could go for something higher up in the range.
Pros:
Stunning looks.
Quiet due to minimal 120mm fans.
Genuinely useful internal additions.
Sturdy construction.
Lockable Front.
Cons: (If being very picky…)
Could be lighter.
