Remember that sexy-looking all-in-one ThinkCentre PC being teased by Lenovo earlier in the week?
Well, it's now official, and when viewed from a different angle, a lot of that sexiness quickly disappears. Lenovo's calling it the ThinkCentre A70z, and it's designed for the business environment where its all-in-one design hopes to conserve space and prove to be easier to maintain.
Prices start from as little as $499 in the U.S., but the system's specification doesn't quite live up to the standards set by Lenovo's ThinkCentre desktops. Inside the A70z all-in-one, users will be offered an Intel Celeron Dual Core processor, with a quicker Intel Core 2 Duo available as an optional upgrade.
The system's display measures a relatively-small 19 inches, but Lenovo reckons its ideal for an office environment - adding that the ThinkCentre A70z takes up 70 per cent less room than a ThinkCentre desktop and standalone 19in monitor.
There's support for up to 500GB of storage, and the system offers a DVD drive, built-in speakers, six USB ports and optional Wi-Fi connectivity.
In keeping with Lenovo's "Enhanced Experience", the ThinkCentre A70z also claims to boot in 35 seconds and shut down 40 per cent faster than previous Lenovo desktop PCs.
The ThinkCentre A70z will be available in the U.S. at the end of November. International availability is yet to be announced.
