We spoke about the revamp of Crucial's Ballistix memory line-up earlier this month, and following on from the appearance of the Ballistix Sport range a few months ago, the company has now announced its Ballistix Tactical and Ballistix Elite modules.
Ballistix Tactical modules will ship in either DDR2 or DDR3 flavours, and Crucial promises an array of speeds and densities - all delivering a fusion of performance, stability and compatibility. A black PCB is married-up with an integrated heatspreader design, to deliver optimal heat dissipation.
Ballistix Elite modules will be available in DDR3 varieties, and targeted towards cutting-edge platforms. According to Crucial, extreme enthusiasts and gamers are most likely to be taken with the Ballistix Elite line-up. There's also the presence of integrated thermal sensors, to complement the black PCB and heatspreader design.
Crucial tells us that the new Ballistix modules will become available in September, yet there's no news on pricing just yet.
