The HomePlug standard isn't brand-spanking new - though the 85Mbps standard has only been with us a few months. But this Netgear HomePlug adaptor is new to CeBIT and worthy of a mention, not least because it shows that Netgear - a company with a solid history of networking - is now backing HomePlug. That only reinforces our view - as spelt out in this in-depth review - that HomePlug is a technology that's well worth considering.
