Whiter shade of pale
After what seems like an age of speculation about whether the iPhone 4 will (ever) be available in white, rumours have surfaced that the iPad 2 could come in two flavours- black and yes, you've guessed it, white.
If the thought of another round of white product Apple speculation is making you feel a little queasy, the good news is that the event will happen this week and hopefully put all iPad 2 rumours to bed.
It seems 9to5Mac is at the heart of the rumours after snapping a part of what it claims is the iPad 2 that it got hold of via iFix Youri iPhone repair shop. Here is the image courtesy of the website.
It said that the camera hole on the part fits ‘perfectly' with the iPad 2 screen protectors which have been produced in and leaked from Asia.
If the iPad 2 is indeed available in white, it would seem that Apple has finally nailed the light leakage problems that Steve Wozinack said were the reason that the white iPhone 4 model is still at large.
He also said the white iPhone 4 is ‘coming soon' and signage for the fabled flavour has been spotted online for just shy of a grand...although we're sceptical of that price.
Nevertheless, could we be in for another pale announcement on 2 March?
