Sporting a 14.1in display capable of a WSXGA+ resolution, the svelte laptop, weighing in at 2.2kg, packs in a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M 256MB graphics card, a Centrino 2 Duo chip, up to 4GB RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. Potential purchasers will also have the option of specifying a Blu-ray drive, too.
There are the usual goodies in the form of a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, 802.11n WiFi, HDMI, ExpressCard, and eSATA. Clearly, MSI is aiming this at the business traveller who wants more than just basic gaming power made available from integrated graphics - no matter how good ATI and NVIDIA tell you they are.
True to MSI form, the CPU - which is available in varying speed-grades - can be user-overclocked via the company's one-touch Turbo Drive Technology.
No pricing or particular SKUs have been announced just yet, but we quite like the thin-form-factor notebook that's a cut above in the gaming stakes.
