Foxconn's reaching out.

Foxconn reseller program

The CTS event often showcases products that we first saw at CeBIT. However, it's more than just a smaller rehash of The Messe. CTS provides an opportunity for manufacturers to touch base with their distributors and partners.

Imaginatively titled foxconnreseller, Fox+ is the company's attempt at providing an easy-to-use resource for its partners. Any PC-related company is welcome to register and, judging by the large crowed in the morning, it seems as if half of CTS did.

There's direct technical support for dealers, special bundled offers for various distributors, a detailed, searchable catalogue of Foxconn's wares, and an ever-expanding knowledge base that registered users can tap into.

It's a concept that's been used by Foxconn's competitors for a while now, yet the easy-to-use interface and additional features (technology news, for example) makes it slicker than the average. Useful for folks in the industry that want in on the Foxconn bandwagon.
