The NVIDIA GeForce 7200GS GPU features DirectX 9.0, Shader Model 3.0 functionality and support, whilst being built for Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system. Advanced 3D realism, state NVIDIA, comes courtesy of high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting support, whilst PureVideo technology takes the honours for delivering smooth, home-theatre quality video, together with superb picture clarity and vivid colour reproduction.
Whilst Inno3D's GeForce 7200GS solution was the focal point for a previous HEXUS.headline, NVIDIA also report that add-in partners such as ASUS, ECS, Foxconn, Leadtek and XFX are launching graphics card iterations powered by the GeForce 7200GS GPU too, with the cards being available worldwide today with aggressive pricing. GeForce 7200GS powered solutions are also being made available by leading OEMs and system integrators.
NVIDIA state that the GeForce 7200GS boasts an increase of up to 50% in performance levels, when compared to the latest integrated graphics solutions, using common 3D benchmark tests as the testing environment for these appraisals.
