Cast your mind back to our coverage of CeBIT and you might remember us showing you Sapphire's up-coming watercooled Radeon X1900XTX, by the name of Blizzard. A US release is due tomorrow (11th April) and there just might be something in the .pipeline from HEXUS with regards to Blizzard. Meanwhile, we'll titilate your tastebuds with news that Sapphire has decided to pre-overclock the card.

Clock speeds in 3D mode are being upped from 650MHz to 675MHz for the core and from 750MHz to 801MHz for memory. And, if you fancy doing some high FPS window drawing, 2D clocks are going up from 500/600MHz to 527/630MHz for core and memory respectively.

A little bit of out of the box overclocking is always nice, but ultimately a lot of buyers of this card will want to stick the Blizzard's cooling fan on high and take the clocks higher still, with Sapphire pushing the possibility for "significant further overclocking".

So there you go, ATI's fastest graphics card on the market just got faster, and it comes with its own sealed watercooling system with room for it to run even faster.
