NVIDIA's upcoming GTX 560 has made some premature appearances, leading up to an official launch tomorrow.
NVIDIA-sanctioned reference clock speeds - as seen with Palit's offering that comes with a custom cooling solution - look to be 810MHz, 1,620MHz and 4,008MHz effective for the GTX 560 GPU, shaders and 1GB GDDR5, respectively.
In addition, the following unsubstantiated performance claims are already being attributed to Palit's outing:
Perfect Upgrade for 1080p Gaming
- 15% better than GTX460 Sonic 1GB in DX10
- 24% better than GTX460 1GB in DX10
The Best Gaming Experience for the Price
- 10% faster in DX10 than HD6870
- 20% faster in DX11 than HD6870
There's also MSI's N560GTX Twin Frozr II/OC which goes down the factory-fresh overclocking route, to go with its custom cooling solution. This will apparently see the GPU running at 870MHz.
Expect more tomorrow!
